Quoting the Queen

It's no surprise to anyone that kids say funny stuff.  In fact, I keep a book simply for the purpose of keeping track of all the funny things Arianna says.  Today I thought you guys might enjoy some of my favorite Arianna quotes over the past few months...

"I'm so hungry I could eat a hamster."

I told Arianna it was time to change her wet diaper.  "No, it's just my diaper juice."

At a restaurant one night Arianna decided to make some dinner conversation.  "So... Mommy... have you ever seen the movie Tangled?"

"I can't believe my eyes!  A bubble bath!"

"I don't want to go to the beach!  I want to go shopping!" 

While picking up Marc's contacts one day:  "Can I borrow Marc ___'s contacts?  He's my prince."

"I want to be Uncle Jessie for Halloween."  [From Full House!]

Hearing a weird noise in the house one night, I asked what it was.  "It's in the kitchen.  It's just the pots."  [It wasn't the pots.  It was a rodent.]

While driving one day, I was annoyed with traffic and said "Geez Louise."
Arianna asked "Where?  Where's Louise?  I don't see her."

"Turn off the TV.  I need some peace and quiet."

Me:  "Arianna, why are you standing like that?  Do you need to use the potty?"
Arianna:  "No.  I just do weird things sometimes, you know?"

On the way home from dinner at a friend's house, I told Arianna how proud I was that she was nice to everyone and used good manners.
She replied "No.  I was bad at Liz & Dan's."  
Me:  "No, I don't think you were!  Why would you say that?"
Arianna:  "When we were eating dinner, I kicked all the dogs under the table."

And although it's not funny, it's one of my favorite quotes in the book:
"Mommy, you are a wonderful wonderful people."
